My ER Story

So yesterday shortly after I posted I started feeling funny. My face felt like I had a shot of novicane. It was all numb and tingly. I felt really tired too. I called the doctors office but they were at lunch. A coworker thought it would be a good idea to call the exchange, I did and they said to go to the ER.

Oh the stories from the ER. First off, after an EKG, Blood Work, CT Scan and X Rays they came back that I have Bells Palsy.
Year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Adies Tonic Pupil. I have to think these are somehow related, that I have a rouge virus attacking my nervous system.

8 hours in the ER I saw Santa Clause come in, the nurse wheeling him told him "you know you can't say ho ho ho anymore" Santa wasn't amused.
Then the 12 year old 5'4 County Cop came in w/ a guy in handcuffs. They were headed to XRay. The man in handcuffs screaming "I just wanted to get Fing laid"

So, it boils down to me being tired, I think I may work a half day. The feeling is almost all the way back in my face..and I have to follow up with my primary care doctor.

Fun, Fun, Fun.

Oh sorry to hear about you health. I am glad that it is Bells, rather than a stroke or heart attack. Take care of yourself and take it easy. On a positive note at the very least you were entertained during your visit...lol

Glad you are nearly back to normal. Sounds like it was almost worth a trip to the ER for the entertainment, almost!

So sorry to hear. I'm sure that must have been frightening. And then to see Santa in the ER?

I hope the feeling returns 100% soon. Get some rest when you can.
